The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer keys for the UGC-NET December 2024 Exam, which was held for 85 subjects in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The answer keys, along with the question papers and recorded responses, are available for review and challenge on the official NTA website: https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
The exam was conducted on January 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 16, 21, and 27. The provisional answer key was released on January 31, 2025. Candidates who are not satisfied with the answer key can challenge it by paying a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question. The challenge window will be open from 6:00 PM on January 31, 2025 to 6:00 PM on February 3, 2025.

The challenges will be reviewed by experts, and if any candidate’s challenge is found to be valid, the answer key will be updated accordingly. The final answer key will be used to prepare the results. Candidates will not be individually notified about the outcome of their challenges.
Steps to check answer key: Open the official website. On Homepage you will see the link which reads UGC NET December 2024: Answer key, click on it. Enter the required details like Application Number, Date of Birth and fill the Captcha code and click on ‘submit’ option to check.
