NSP Scholarship Overview
The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) is a government initiative aimed at helping students by providing financial support for their education. It serves as a centralized platform where students can apply for various scholarships offered under Central sector scheme, Centrally Sponsored schemes and state schemes.

The NSP offers a range of scholarship schemes, including the Pre-Matric Scholarship, Post-Matric Scholarship, Merit-cum-Means Scholarship, Minority Scholarship, National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship, Central Sector Scholarship, Top Class Education Scheme and various other schemes all designed to assist students at various stages of their education.
NSP Scholarship 2024-25 : Amount of Money given to Students
The amount of money given through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) depends on the specific scholarship program. There are different types of scholarships for various schemes, such as those based on merit, financial need, or whether a student is in pre-matric or post-matric levels.

NSP Scholarship Status 2024-25
• Visit official NSP Website at scholarships.gov.in
• On the homepage, you will find the ‘Students’ tab. Click on ‘Apply for Scholarship,’ which will take you to the Application login page.
• Enter your One Time Registration (OTR) number (as provided during registration) and your password.
• Next, enter the Captcha code and click on the ‘Login’ button.
• You can check the status of your application under the ‘My Application’ section, where you will find the current progress, including whether your application has been verified at the institute, district, or state level, along with other important details.

NSP Scholarship Previous year Status
To check previous years NSP application status, first open the official NSP website and click on the three lines available on the homepage. Then, click on the link that reads “Previous Year Application Status.” Next, select the academic year you want to check the status for and choose whether it’s a fresh application or renewal. Enter the required details, such as your application ID and password, and fill in the Captcha code provided. Once done, click ‘Login’ to view your NSP application status. If you’ve forgotten your application ID or password, there is also an option to recover them on the same page.
