
The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has announced recruitment notification for the position of Lecturers in the School Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir. There are 19 vacancies in total for three subjects: Hindi, Sanskrit, and Music.

The online application started on January 23, 2025, and the last date to apply is February 22, 2025. Candidates can edit certain fields in their online application through Edit option, which will be available from February 23 to February 25. Age Criteria for JKPSC Lecturer 2025 Recruitment
Age Criteria for Candidates as of 1st January 2025
Open Merit (OM) Age limit: 40 years
• Candidates must not be born after 1st January 2007.
• Candidates must not be born before 1st January 1985.
Reserved Categories Age limit: 43 years
• Candidates must not be born after 1st January 2007.
• Candidates must not be born before 1st January 1982.
PHC Age limit: 42 years.
• Candidates must not be born after 1st January 2007.
• Candidates must not be born before 1st January 1983.
In-Service Candidates Age limit: 40 years.
•Candidates must not be born after 1st January 2007.
• Candidates must not be born before 1st January 1985.

The tentative exam date shall be notified separately. Admit Cards will be available for download on the official website at jkpsc.nic.in, around two weeks before the exam. Candidates will need to print their Admit Card or Roll Number Slip and bring it with them to the Exam Hall. For the Lecturer position, the pay will be at level 9, ranging from 52,700 to 1,66,700.
