The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued an important notice for candidates who appeared in the tier II of Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2024 (CHSLE-2024). This notice focuses on the submission of Option-cum-Preference for posts and departments. The Tier-I examination was conducted from 01 July 2024 to 11 July 2024 and its results were declared on 06 September 2024. The Tier-II examination took place on 18 November 2024. Before the final results are announced, candidates who appeared in Tier-II must submit their preferences for posts/ departments.

Candidates are required to visit official website of SSC at https://ssc.gov.in and log in to their respective ‘Candidate login’. The option to submit preferences for posts/organizations will be available under the ‘My Application’ tab. This facility will be active from 04 February 2025 (6:00 PM) to 08 February 2025 (11:59 PM). After successfully submitting their preferences, candidates will receive a confirmation email on their registered email ID.
Candidates can revise their Option-cum-Preference(s) only during the specified period mentioned above and the option cum preference last submitted by candidate will be final. If not submitted within the given time, no further opportunity will be provided, and such candidates will not be considered for the final merit list/selection. It is mandatory for all Tier-II candidates to submit their Option-cum-Preference(s) for consideration in CHSLE-2024 merit list/ final selection.

The SSC has made it clear that no extensions or additional opportunities will be provided for submitting option cum preference beyond the dates mentioned above.
Also Staff Selection Commission released the final Vacancies List for this recruitment on 4 February 2025, in which they mentioned that the final Vacancies for combined Higher secondary level (10+2) examination 2024 (CHSLE 2024) is 3437.
