The salary for the Junior Assistant position, Jammu and Kashmir High Court is in Level-4, with a pay range of ₹25,500 to ₹81,100.

The total number of vacancies for Jammu is 126, which are distributed across various categories: 51 for Open Merit (OM), 10 for Scheduled Caste (SC), 13 for Scheduled Tribe 1 (ST1), 13 for Scheduled Tribe 2 (ST2), 12 for Resident of Backward Areas (RBA), 10 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 12 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and 5 for Actual Line of Control (ALC) candidates. Similarly, in Kashmir, there are 81 vacancies, categorized as follows: 33 for Open Merit (OM), 6 for Scheduled Caste (SC), 8 for Scheduled Tribe 1 (ST1), 8 for Scheduled Tribe 2 (ST2), 8 for Resident of Backward Areas (RBA), 7 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 8 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and 3 for Actual Line of Control (ALC) candidates.

The required qualification for the position of Junior Assistant, JK High Court is a graduation degree from a recognized university, along with a certificate course in Computer Application.
Junior Assistant JK High Court Exam Date 2025
The online application process for this advertisement ended on 16th October 2024. Since then, candidates have been awaiting the release of exam dates. However, the JK High Court is expected to conduct the OMR based written examination in the month of March. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website of the court for updates. In the meantime, they should continue their preparation to achieve better results in the exam.

Junior Assistant JK High Court Syllabus
As you know, the syllabus for the Junior Assistant post has already been published by the JK High Court on its official website. The exam shall comprise of online computer based offline OMR based written examination with 80 questions, carrying 80 marks, and a duration of 80 minutes. The interview will carry 20 marks. The Exam will include sections on General English (30 marks), General Knowledge/Current Affairs (25 marks), Computer Knowledge (15 marks), and Job related Awareness (10 marks).
Note: According to the latest Notice released by high Court on 4th February 2025, the exam of junior Assistant will now be held in offline OMR mode.
